The majority of the two 108” pipelines have been installed. Crews are now working to finalize the grading and construct the permanent road so that the temporary road, which is adjacent to the neighbors south of the corridor, can be removed. This work requires large dump trucks, dozers, graders, and compactors to remove unsuitable dirt, bring in acceptable fill, compact it, and grade the new road. If you live near the pipeline corridor which runs behind Cambridge Eagle Drive you may be experiencing some ground vibration and hearing construction related noises due to these activities.
We expect this work to take approximately 6-8 weeks, weather permitting.
This is one of the last steps to finishing the pipeline installation. After the road is done, the workers will be installing an underground duct bank with electrical and process utilities that are necessary for operation of the intake pump station, but this work will not happen immediately.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
